We have an amazing lineup planned for the new year to give you up-to-the-minute information on compliance, political, legislative and regulatory updates, as well as new resources for you and your clients. Keep an eye out for our exclusive news and events.

In the meantime, I want to give you an end-of-the-year compliance checklist that you can pass on to your clients.

Please note that the very first item on the list is the Gag Clause attestation requirement, which applies only to employer-sponsored health plans and covers the period beginning December 27, 2020, through the date the attestation is filed in 2023.

The initial deadline for compliance is set for December 31, 2023, marking the first occurrence of this recurring requirement. If your clients are all fully insured, their carriers are most likely doing the attestation for them, but if they are level-funded or in another self-funded arrangement, they may need to do the attestation themselves.

However, please take a moment to go to this dedicated page on our website where we have collected information for you on these requirements and what various plans are doing.

Let me know if I can be of help! If you have questions, please submit them through my Ask Janet portal on the home page of warnerpacific.com!
