At Warner Pacific, our hearts are with everyone affected by the Southern California wildfires. Below, we have provided our carrier partners’ responses to the fires.

We will be updating this page as information comes. Please be sure to check in periodically.

Aetna: To assist affected members, Aetna created a dedicated disaster resources for California members page where you can find detailed information about the services and support Aetna is offering during this crisis.

Anthem Blue Cross is making changes to health plan benefits to provide relief and ensure healthcare access for our members who live in Los Angeles and Ventura counties in California and are impacted by the Palisades wildfire and windstorm conditions. The changes are in effect January 7 through February 5, 2025.

The changes also apply to emergency responders who have been activated to the impacted area by their state or local agency, but who do not live in the impacted area.

Blue Shield of California

Health Net

In response to the Southern California wildfires, the Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) issued All Plan Letter (APL) 25-005, directing all health plans to implement temporary operational flexibilities for providers displaced in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

To ensure members have uninterrupted access to essential prescription medications and healthcare services, Health Net is providing special assistance to members affected by the Los Angeles and Ventura County Fires and windstorm conditions. Click here for up-to-date information.

A formal provider notification summarizing the flexibilities outlined in APL 25-005 is currently being finalized and will be distributed to all contracted providers by April 30, 2025.
