UnitedHealthcare: Restaurant & Hospitality Association Benefit Trust (RHABT)

UnitedHealthcare and the National Restaurant Association is committed to continuously developing new products that meet the needs of our mutual members. They are pleased to announce a new National Restaurant Association legacy product agreement effective January 1, 2025. This agreement includes level funding for our small group businesses, FlexWork for part-time employees, and the addition of Surest to their current fully insured program.

As RHABT introduces these new products through their legacy program, they have determined that they offer more competitive and comprehensive solutions compared to their current Restaurant & Hospitality Association Benefit Trust (RHABT) solution. Consequently, they have decided to sunset RHABT in 2026.  Starting July 1, 2025, at each group's renewal date, they will offer an alternate UHC option in lieu of a renewal. The last RHABT renewal will be on June 1, 2026.

RHABT will collaborate with each group and broker to identify suitable UnitedHealthcare solutions for their current members at their next renewal period.  Brokers with groups currently enrolled in the Trust will receive a separate group specific email including an ATNE/FTE form approximately 180 days from the date of the renewal.  It is important to complete the ATNE/FTE form and send back to RHABT so they can work together to provide the best options for mutual clients.
