Aetna has some noteworthy updates for their Small Group plans:
- Regarding Aetna's Small Group RxDC requirement and procedure for all plan sponsors:
On March 2nd, a communication was sent to all Small Group clients, necessitating a reply. Clients must follow the link in the message and fill out the necessary information using the online form by April 1, 2023. Aetna will then use the gathered information to file the report on behalf of the plan sponsor.
- Starting May 1, 2023, Aetna will provide orthodontic benefits in California to groups with fewer than 10 employees.
