Blue Cross of California is excited to announce the launch of Virtual Blue, their new virtual-first plan. Virtual Blue addresses the healthcare needs of today (and tomorrow) by giving members access to a unique, top-quality span of online medical, behavioral, and specialist doctors.

Improving the member experience through flexibility and convenience is at the heart of Virtual Blue. With simple online booking, a holistic care team including a care coordinator, and the reach of an in-person PPO network, Virtual Blue minimizes friction and delivers a simpler model of integrated care.

Employer groups can leverage the advantages of Virtual Blue for key outcomes, such as:

Virtual Blue plans feature $0 unlimited virtual care visits. In-person care cost shares vary by plan, and in-person access to care is available through their Tandem PPO network in California and via BlueCard when outside of the state.
