Anthem Submitted the Gag Clause Prohibition Compliance Attestation

The gag clause provision of the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) requires group health plans and issuers to submit an attestation each year to confirm compliance with the restriction on gag clauses. This attestation generally covers the period between January 1, 2025, through the date of attestation.

Anthem remains committed to the timely implementation and execution of these regulations for their fully insured and self-insured employer groups. Anthem will continue to provide updates as they receive more regulatory guidance.
