Blue Shield is expanding access to FOLX’s full suite of clinical and non-clinical services for their LGBTQIA+ fully insured PPO members. Access is available with a monthly membership, however, Blue Shield will reimburse monthly membership costs for fully insured PPO members.
FOLX is the largest health and wellness platform for the LGBTQIA+ community, offering non-clinical services like care navigation, coaching, gender-affirming care support, community forums, education, and online appointment scheduling for easier access to FOLX’s virtual primary and behavioral health services.
Steps for reimbursement are provided on the Blue Shield landing page within the FOLX website, and customer service representatives for both organizations are available to assist.
