The CaliforniaChoice® January and February Renewal quotes and new business quotes did not include the Kaiser Permanente Gold HMO F plan on the employee Enrollment Worksheet for employees residing in San Diego County.
CaliforniaChoice was also recently notified of a benefit change for UnitedHealthcare. Please see the “Benefit Update Effective 1.1.2026” document for details of the changes. The updated Summary of Changes and Benefit Update Effective 1.1.2026 documents are posted on your Quotes and Renewals inbox pages at calchoice.com.
Thier quoting system was updated as of Friday, December 5, 2025. January through March new business quotes and January renewal quotes generated prior to this date will not be reprocessed.
February renewal quotes have been reprocessed and are available on your Renewals inbox page at calchoice.com. Reprocessed renewal quotes include updated employee Renewal Enrollment Worksheets.
For January groups, to request an updated employee Enrollment Worksheet, please contact your Sales or Renewal Sales Representative. If a member would like to select a different plan based on these changes, the employee must submit an updated Enrollment Application for new enrollments or Change Request Form for renewal changes as soon as possible but no later than the end of the group’s renewal month.
The Benefit Update Effective 1.1.2026 was added to the Benefit Summaries, Member Enrollment Guide, and Employer Program Guide. The updated material is also available at calchoice.com, Forms & Documents, New for 1/26. Marketing material effective 4.1.2026 will reflect these changes.
A similar email will be sent to groups with a January or February 2026 renewal effective date.
