Guardian announced they are no longer offering Avēsis as a vision insurance option for their customers. Here’s a brief overview of what you need to know for your clients with Avēsis coverage:
Effective immediately, Guardian has ceased quoting Avēsis for new and in-force groups who do not currently offer this benefit.
Moving forward, Davis Vision will be quoted as the lower cost vision insurance option which best matches the Avēsis price point. At their renewal, Avēsis vision care customers will be matched with an equivalent Davis Vision plan at their current rate. Davis Vision provides comprehensive benefits with more than 152,000 access points.
