COVID-19 Special Enrollment Period For Individual Coverage Is Now Extended To April 30

Governor Polis announced Thursday that the Colorado COVID-19 special enrollment period for individual health insurance is being extended to April 30.

The Colorado Division of Insurance (DOI) and Connect for Health Colorado added the extra time to allow all Coloradans who are currently uninsured to get the individual health coverage they need at this critical time. 

Uninsured Coloradans are encouraged to enroll directly with their carrier, or through Connect for Health Colorado at connectforhealthco.com. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
The effective date for people enrolling after April 3, is May 1.
