WHA Small Group: Rate Reduction for Q4!
This pandemic has been hard on small businesses so WHA has responded by providing a bit of a rate relief that they think their employer groups will appreciate. In collaboration with their provider partners, WHA has reduced their small group rates on average by 4%, effective 10/1/2020. They have put together aggressively priced renewal packages to help their employer groups. This comes at a time when groups may be experiencing some economic challenges, but also know how vital it is to offer health benefits to their employees. Q4 rate sheets are available. Reminder: HealthEquity is Monitoring HSA IRS Guidelines Related to COVID-19
Just a reminder that WHA partners with HealthEquity for providing no-cost, integrated HSA administration with their HDHPs. Recently, there were two IRS rules (notices) with regard to ongoing relief efforts related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The new guidelines allow employers an option for increased flexibility with respect to their plans during the 2020 calendar year. HealthEquity is an excellent resource with robust information. Magellan Establishes Crisis Line and Promotes its Sleep Mobile App
Responding to an increased level of stress related to COVID-19 pandemic, as well as recent community unrest, Magellan, WHA's behavioral health provider, opened a free, 24-hour crisis line. Members can access confidential counseling services at no cost by calling: 1-800-327-7451 (TTY 711).
In addition, Magellan's recently launched RESTORE Mobile App can be beneficial to individuals suffering from insomnia, and provides techniques that promote better sleep. communityFIT Opens for a Virtual Summer Session
As a local health plan, WHA is proud to support the health and wellbeing of our community and invite brokers, their staff and their clients to WHA's virtual communityFIT summer program. This 12-week program - perfect for these stay-at-home times - will offer two, virtual classes per week, leading up to the fall. Be sure to share communityFIT program information.
