Helping members reverse type 2 diabetes

To complement WHA's disease management programs. they’re gearing up for the launch of a new diabetes reversal program included in all plans starting in January 2021. In partnership with Virta Health, this innovative program works through nutritional ketosis without calorie-counting, surgery, or medication. 24/7 Urgent Care

To meet the changing needs of their members, WHA is pleased to now offer telehealth services through Teladoc, beginning in January 2021. While physician offices and medical groups have expanded their services using virtual visits recently, we have also added 24/7 urgent care by phone or video via the Teladoc app (or website: Teladoc.com). It allows members to connect to a doctor anywhere, for minor injuries such as sprains, strains, rashes, and cold/flu symptoms…without having to go to an urgent care location.
